Advanex recently took part in a visit to Slovaki to commemorate 2020 being the 100th anniversary of the first economic cooperation netween Japan and Slovakia.
The event was jointly organised by Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO). The event was well attended by a number of Japanese companies including Advanex as a range of businesses were visited over a number of days. The visit schedule included:
- MinebeaMitsumi (Košice)
- Technical University of Košice
- Whirlpool (Poprad)
- Central European Institute of Technology – CEIT (Žilina)
- ESET (Bratislava)
A number of dignitaries from both sides were present at various points during the visit, with the Governor of Košice (Jaroslav Polaček) hosting the first round of B2B meetings and both the Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Economy (Shuji Miyamoto) and Ambassador to Slovakia (Jun Shimmi) attending later in the week.
The visit concluded in the Bratislava Matchmaking Fair, an annual B2B event held in the Slovak capital which attracts visiting companies from all over the world.
Advanex was keen to support and take part in the event as part of the commitment to develop and grow the business within Europe over the next 5 years.
